In a letter dated December 20, 2024, NCISM/NCH, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, set the deadline for UG courses (BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS) at Government/Private Sector Ayurvedic, Unani, and Homeopathic Medical Colleges/Private Sector Universities/Minority Institutions of Uttar Pradesh State at December 31, 2024. Who are eligible for UP Ayush UG  Special Stray Round Counselling?

 

A candidate must fulfill the following eligibility requirements in order to take part in the AYUSH UG course counseling:

 

·       The applicant must be a qualified NEET 2024.

·         According to the current academic year's information booklet, candidates must be at least 17 years old.

·         The candidate must have completed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12 or its equivalent from an accredited board.

·         Candidates who did not register for the counseling of the first, second, third, or stray vacancy cycle—1 or 2—can participate in the counseling of 2024 by paying a registration fee of Rs. 2000 and a security deposit on the website https://www.upayushcounseling.upsdc.gov.in.

·         If they were not given a seat, candidates who paid Rs. 1,000 (one thousand) to participate in Stray Vacancy Cycles 1 and 2 may opt to participate directly by completing the Special Stray Vacancy Cycle. Candidates who were selected for the first, second, and third rounds but were not given a seat in those rounds must re-register and pay a supplementary registration cost of Rs. 1,000 (one thousand only) through the gateway in order to take part in the Special Stray Vacancy round.

·         However, they are free from having to re-deposit the security sum. Under no circumstances will the paid registration fee be reimbursed. (not refundable)

·         Counseling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round will not be available to candidates who have been deemed ineligible by AACCC.

Important Guidelines:

1.       Candidates cannot be rearranged during the Special Stray Vacancy Round.

2.       Counseling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round will not be available to candidates admitted in the first, second, third, Stray Vacancy Rounds-1 and 2. (Applicants who were accepted in Stray Vacancy Rounds I, II, III, and 1 and 2 are not eligible for the Special Stray Vacancy Round.)

3.       Candidates who have been deemed ineligible by AACCC will not be permitted to participate in the Special Round counseling.

4.       After the records are physically verified at the Government National Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Nodal Center, Hahnemann Square, Virajkhand Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, the candidate's security deposit will be forfeited in the department's favor if he does not accept his assigned seat.

5.       In the event that the candidate's records do not support the reserved category or subcategory, the category or subcategory will be changed to the appropriate category.

6.       If there are still open seats in the reserved category or subcategory during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, the seats will be merged or converted to the appropriate category in accordance with the regulations.

7.       The candidate must provide the all of his original documentation to the verification officer at the designated time, date, and location in order for the certification of his eligibility to be completed by physical verification of the pertinent documents.

8.       The advantage of the associated qualification will be discontinued or the candidature will be canceled if the eligibility is not certified without a genuine original document.

9.       For eligibility to be certified, the candidate must bring all of his original documentation to the verification officer at the specified time, date, and place; otherwise, the benefit of the associated qualification will be terminated or the candidate's candidature will be canceled.

10.   In the event that there are still open seats in the reserved category or subcategory during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, the seats will be merged or converted to the appropriate category in compliance with the applicable regulations.
