SPECIAL STRAY ROUND-2 SCHEDULE PUBLIC NOTICE (MBBS/BDS COURSES)
The Haryana NEET 2024 counseling dates for the
Special Stray Vacancy Round have been independently announced by DMER Haryana.
If there are still openings in a particular course after all the rounds have
been completed, there will be further exam counseling tailored to that course;
the dates for this will be publicized separately.
The Haryana NEET 2024 counseling is being held for admission to MBBS and BDS
programs in 85% of State Quota states. Steps including seat matrix release,
registration, choice filling, seat allocation results, and institute reporting
are all part of the counseling process. Each cycle of Haryana NEET counseling
lasts between seven to ten days. DMER Haryana occasionally changes or extends
the dates or timetable in response to outside circumstances.
Haryana NEET Counselling Schedule for Special Stray Round 2
For the benefit of all qualified applicants interested in enrolling in MBBS/BDS
programs at government-aided or private medical and dental schools in the state
of Haryana, including those affiliated with private or minority universities,
such as SGT University in Budhera, Gurugram; Maharishi Markendeshwar University
in Sadhopur, Ambala; Al-Falah University in the village of Dhauj (Faridabad);
and PDM University in Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, the approximate timetable for
SPECIAL STRAY ROUND-2 counseling is as follows:
Important Instruction:
- 1. Candidates who intend to participate in the Special Stray Round-2 but have previously registered for the Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, Stray Round, and Special Stray Round are exempt from having to do so.
- 2. Candidates who have been given seats in the State Counseling Rounds 3, 4, and Special Stray Rounds are not permitted to take part in the Special Stray Round 2 of counseling.
- 3. Candidates cannot participate in the Special Stray Round-2 of counseling, even after resigning, if they have previously "joined" on any seat assigned to them up until the Special Stray Round through All India Counseling or Any State Counseling.
- 4. All candidates (both newly registered and those who are already registered, regardless of their admission status) who want to take part in the Special Stray Round-2 of counseling and wish to choose State Quota Seats in only Government/Govt. Aided Medical/Dental Colleges must deposit Rs. 10,000 online (Rs. 5000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWBD of Haryana State). If the candidate also wants to choose State Quota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Medical/Dental Pvt. Colleges, including private universities, they must deposit Rs. 1 million online. Candidates will be able to access this feature through their login ID on the admissions website. Any registered candidate who does not deposit the required security amount will not be allowed to take part in the Special Stray Round-2 of counseling.
- 5. This security deposit will be deducted from the first year's tuition for the undergraduate course if the candidate accepts the assigned seat.
- 6. Candidates will lose their security money if they are given a seat in Special Stray Round-2 that matches their preferences but do not take it.
- 7. After the counseling procedure is over, the security money will be returned to the candidates who were not given a seat during Rounds 2, 3, or Special Stray Rounds, Special Stray Rounds, or Special Stray Rounds.
- 8. Applicants who have already paid the security deposit for Rounds 2, 3, and Special Stray Round but have not been assigned a seat are not required to do so for Special Stray Round 2.
- 9. Applicants whose documents are satisfactorily validated must report to the appropriate institutes and turn in all original, pertinent documents by the deadline mentioned above.
- 10 The security money will be lost if the candidate provides false information during registration, which could result in a seat being assigned and then canceled during document verification, or if the candidate does not present the necessary paperwork during document verification.
- 11 "Vacant seats (if any) shall be reverted back to their original category(ies) of seats according to State Reservation Policy and filled as per merit after conversion (for example, BC-A seat to BC-B and finally to UR) and filled in the third round itself for both Government and Private Institutes," states the Government of Haryana's notification dated August 14, 2024, Clause 9 XII (f).
- 12 However, candidates from the original category of the vacant seat from the previous round would be given preference if a seat becomes available after the third round in any category. If the seat is still unfilled, it will be filled in accordance with government of Haryana notification.
- 1 Candidates will have to fill out new options for Special Stray Round-2, and their choices for Rounds 1, 2, 3, and other rounds of counseling will be deemed invalid.
- 14 The aforementioned instructions should be read in compliance with the Government of Haryana's announcement of August 14, 2024, the NEET UG information bulletin 2024, and any periodic public bulletins.
- 15 Notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW issued by the Government of Haryana on July 16, 2024, applies to applicants in the BC-A and BC-B categories.
